Raabe — Preparing for the Upcoming season
Chris Raabe Racing recently took possession of their new 2019 Teo Pro Car chassis in a bid to have the latest Teo Technology as they get set for the 2019 race season.
With the new chassis and refreshed motor program, the team is confident that they will be very competitive this season over last and are just looking to straighten their weekly maintenance program.
Chris explains: “It’s very competitive racing in the 358 class and you have to have good equipment if you want to race for a track championship. I think with the new car, along with a good motor program, this puts our team in a good place.”
The Team also has acquired three new sponsors for this up and coming season.
Chris explains: “We are very happy to have Alexandra Home Hardware Building Centre come on board as one of our new sponsors. Marleau Foundations along with Stephane Gauthier Polishing & Detailing will also be onboard for the first time this year. Kid For Kids is also back with us for the 2019 season.”
In past seasons, Chris typically raced Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This season the team is considering racing only two shows a week due to work commitments. I asked Chris where he would be racing this season.
“We really haven’t come to a destination yet. Cornwall most likely, because it’s so close for us but other than that, it’s still up in the air. We may even race one of the tracks in Quebec. We haven’t ruled that out. Once the first week of racing is underway, we will probably decide then where we will run in 2019.” explained Chris.
As always, Chris is focused on winning and with the welcome upgrades in equipment, Chris will be a force to reckon with once the season gets underway.
