La série World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series effectuera son deuxième voyage de la saison en Pennsylvanie pour une visite en mai au Lincoln Speedway et au Williams Grove Speedway.
Les vedettes du World of Outlaws affronteront à nouveau les PA Posse lors du Lincoln’s Gettysburg Clash, le mercredi 10 mai, et de la Morgan Cup de Williams Grove, les vendredi et samedi 12 et 13 mai.
Les pilotes se disputeront un salaire de 10 000 dollars le mercredi à Lincoln et le vendredi à Williams Grove. Puis, le samedi, ils s’affronteront pour un gain de 12 000 dollars et la fameuse Morgan Cup.

Les premières intrigues :
CONCURRENCE POUR LE TITRE : La lutte pour le championnat de la World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series en début de saison s’avère passionnante. Le quadruple champion en titre Brad Sweet, Carson Macedo et David Gravel ont tous été au sommet du classement des points à un moment ou à un autre cette année.
Tous trois ont triomphé à Williams Grove, tandis que Macedo est le seul des trois à être encore à la recherche d’une victoire au Lincoln Speedway. Lors de la visite de la série à Lincoln en mars, Sweet a terminé deuxième, Macedo quatrième et Gravel dixième.
LES VEDETTES DE LA PENNSYLVANIE : La semaine de la Pennsylvanie met toujours en évidence les meilleurs pilotes de Sprint Car de la région. Au sommet de cette liste se trouvent les habitués du World of Outlaws, Logan Schuchart, Jacob Allen et Brock Zearfoss.
Allen, de Hanover, PA – à 10 minutes du Lincoln Speedway – a gagné à Lincoln l’année dernière. Et Zearfoss, de Jonestown, en Pennsylvanie, a remporté sa première victoire World of Outlaws en carrière à Williams Grove en 2017. Schuchart, également de Hanover, PA, est à la recherche de sa première victoire dans les deux cas.
Outre les World of Outlaws, les meilleurs du PA Posse se présentent pour relever le défi, notamment Lance Dewease – qui compte plus de 100 victoires à Williams Grove – Anthony Macri, Danny Dietrich, Freddie Rahmer, Brent Marks et bien d’autres.
L’EXCEPTION : Lors de la première manche du World of Outlaws versus PA Posse au Lincoln Speedway en mars, aucun pilote Outlaw ou Posse n’a remporté la victoire. C’est le Californien Rico Abreu qui l’a emporté.
Il a maintenant deux victoires avec la série cette année – Lincoln et 81 Speedway – et cherchera à gâcher la bataille historique encore une fois les trois soirs.
