Super DIRT Week Don Simpson
The 26th Annual Running of the Hurricane 100 -- Just few days away La version française ici On October 4, the best of the best 358 Modified drivers will congregate to battle it out at the Brewerton Speedway for the coveted “Hurricane 100” presented by Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux along with SUNY Canton. This prize is undoubtedly one of the most prestige 358 races in the country and will once again be a part of the Super Dirt Week satellite race schedule Last year, this event saw over fifty cars trying to qualify. After a back and forth battle for the lead with veteran driver Pat Ward for most of the race, Brachmann on lap 68 took control of the race, sailing home to victory lane. Also on hand that night will be the DIRTcar Sportsman Championship series, with some of the best Sportsman drivers from Canada and the United States, battling it out on the 1/3 mile, d-shaped oval.
