Raabe, Ladouceur pull off stunning wins at Mohawk Int. Raceway. La version française ici Chris Raabe of Alexandria Ontario pulled off a stunning victory coming from 11th place to take the checkered flag in the 50 lap Memorial Cup. At first, the race was starting to look like a dominant night once again for Tim Fuller in the number 19. In the background though Chris Raabe was picking off one driver at a time moving through the field. Chris drove from his 11th place starting position to 3rd just behind Lee Ladouceur, by lap 38 when a yellow came out. This Bunch up the field for a restart once the track was clear. With 12 to go and the green flag showing Chris took the high groove and within two laps drove around Ladouceur followed by Fuller taking a car lengths lead. But once again on lap 47, there was a caution bunching up the field, once again. With three laps to go and the drop of the flag Raabe Ladouceur and Fuller battled it out for the last few laps but in the end, Raabe would cross the line first getting his first taste of victory lane this year at Mohawk Int. Raceway. Photo credit: Don Simpson In the Sportsman Modified, it was almost a repeat of the 358 with an exciting last minute battle for the lead with just one lap to go. Brianna Ladouceur would make an amazing last lap move to drive around Perry Francis to take the win. This was Brianna's first win this season and was defiantly well earned. Brianna Ladouceur.
