Egglefield Ford 358-Modified
Jessey Mueller muscled his way to take the win at Airborne Park Speedway over the hard-charging Steve Bernier of St. Hyacinth, QC, in the Egglefield Ford 358-Modified feature race. From the drop of the green flag, Muller never could break away from the pack, with Bernier in second followed by Maxime Plante in third, both pressing hard to catch the young 23-year-old driver. In the closing laps of the race, Bernier would try to overtake the lead from Mueller in each corner, giving fans some of the most exciting side-by-side racing of the season.Steve Bernier. True Value Sportsman Modified
In the Sportsman Modified ranks, Devin Willis captured his first win in the Sportsman division, redeeming his disappointing loss from last week, after running out of fuel with just four laps to go. Willis from Chateguay, NY, has been charging hard all year and finally picked up this well-deserved win, moving him up in the points battle.
