Jessey Mueller, a New York native of Olmsteadville, picked up his first win of the year at the 65-year-old Airborne Speedway track. Jessey made no hesitations to charge to the front of the pack once the green was shown. The only challenge came late in the race from Steve Bernier after a late race restart from a caution.
Bernier from St. Hyacinth, QC, made a challenge for the lead on the restart and would keep the pressure on Mueller to the end, with Mueller inching out Bernier for the win. Chris Raabe would come home in the third place position, followed by Todd Stone and Dany Gagné to round out the top five.
Mueller was ecstatic on his victory, thanking fans and crew. “I’m really glad we're here, back at Airborne this year and our race program is coming along to where we want it to be,” Mueller explained.

In this feature, the crowd once again saw local hero Bucko Branham take home the win after a long race chasing down Devin Willis of Chateguay, NY, had a commanding lead until lap 21 when his number 7 ran out of fuel, handing the win to Branham.
This was Branham’s second win of the year. Jason McClache came in second and Nick Heywood, the current points lead, took the top three.
