$2,500 Shoot-Out at Can-Am Speedway

Can-Am Speedway to Host the “PABST $2,500 SHOOT-OUT” -- Wednesday, July 4 La version française ici July 4 will see the return of the $2,500 “Pabst 35 Lap Shoot -Out” for DirtCar 358 Modifieds, last held 18 years ago. This event, as in the past, will surely draw many top drivers from the Northeastern United States and Canada to challenge for the $2,500 purse. Only 24 cars can qualify for the shootout and a chance at the top prize. That same night Can-Am will once again host the S2,500 “PABST SHOOT-OUT” for Empire Super Sprints, This is the first race of the ESS Sprint car speed week tour for 2018. This series always draws the top drivers competing in the DirtCar Sportsman series challenging for the Sportsman crown. Crédit photo : Don Simpson The kick off for July 4 holiday “PABST SHOOT-OUT” event will be the “Fan Fest” starting at 3:00 p.m. Fans can enjoy some live music from 4:00-6:30 p.m. and can purchase a cold beer and some great food at one of the concessions. Fans can also sit back and enjoy some good music. All of this will be capped off by a meet and greet session where fans engage with some of the drivers and view some of the cars competing that night. Sprint Car “Warming of motors” starts at 6:15 p.m., followed by hot laps at 6:30 p.m. Racing begins at 7:00 p.m. A fireworks displays display to celebrate the 4th of July holiday will cap off the night actives.
