The Modified feature saw Tim Sears, Jr., picking up the win while driving Larry Wight’s backup car supporting the number 83x. Sears captured the lead on lap 15 after a yellow on lap 13. Within two laps of the restart, Sears drove past the 07 of Kerr, to take the lead. By lap 20, Jimmy Phelps, in the HBR Racing 98H was pressing hard to get past Sears, followed by Kerr. Lap 26 saw the yellow fly once again, bunching up the pack and providing a close battle with Phelps for the last few laps.
