Stephane Lemire wants to try out the Moody Mile.

Chroniques Steve Brillant
The Pro Stock driver out of Drummondville, Quebec, Stephane Lemire, will be racing at the Mile in both the Futures race and the BACC-OFF 25 Pro Stock Race on Sunday October 12th. There’s a lot on the line for Lemire as he would like to secure his 3rd place in the Pro Stock DIRTcar Series Championship, and Syracuse is the last race on the schedule. 2014 was a pretty good season for the 38 year old driver as he won the Mohawk Pro Stock Series and ended up finishing 3rd in the standings at Granby. Lemire will be driving his weekly car, a 2011 Stinger X that once belonged to Joey Ladouceur. Lemire’s crew will also be making the trip for the first time. Lemire was actually telling me that he drove on the Moody Mile before, back in 1994. After a rain shower, people were asked to help work in the track with their own car and Lemire was one of those people. 20 years later, he’s back, but this time he’ll be driving his familiar #115 car. Back in late 90’s, Lemire won 2 championships at St-Guillaume Speedway and also picked up the Street Stock title in Cornwall in 2000. Stephane is another one of those Quebec drivers that will proudly represent our fans at 43rd Super DIRT Week. Keep an eye on Lemire, he’s known for his fierce driving style.
